All American Asphalt Facility

What is the All American Asphalt facility?
All American Asphalt (AAA) has owned and operated a production facility in North Irvine since 1993.

Who is responsible for regulatory oversight of the facility?
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) oversees air quality in the region and is the primary regulator of the AAA facility. The agency has posted a website with information on this matter, including recent air quality testing results, overview of actions it has taken, community meeting reports and other items. It also includes ways to contact AQMD. The City of Irvine has also posted a website with additional information.

What is near this facility?
The facility is surrounded by open space with intervening topography between it and Irvine villages.  The closest home is approximately one-half mile away.

Are AAA operations properly addressed in new-home disclosure documents?
Yes. Irvine Company has master-planned and built the City of Irvine for the past 60 years. We are deliberate and meticulous in each aspect of community planning, which includes providing all required and updated disclosures to new-home buyers according to the rules set forth by state law, the California Department of Real Estate and the City of Irvine.
